Drybar - Summit

It’s was okay… my stylist was very sweet but I paid extra for an extra 10 minute scalp massage and she started the timer once she shampooed my hair and played mostly with my ends and barely massaged my scalp. She did not seem too knowledgeable on how to keep my hair to stay, I explained to her how my hair is and she either did not care or did not want to do my hair. I kept emphasizing I needed my hair to stay and it’s now been 2 hours and it’s basically flat and all the curls have fallen out. She also tried to give me volume but lifted the back portion of my hair so much it looked so off from the front. All it all I don’t think worth $90 and I could’ve just done it all myself! Maybe it was my stylist but don’t know if I’d be eager to try again

Karisma has been my stylist for about a year. She’s terrific and very talented. Always warm and accommodating and eager to please. I love coming here!

Two stars because my stylist was very accommodating and kind at the beginning but the rest of the staff were very stand-offish and borderline rude I really couldn’t wait till my service was over to leave! At the end of my service my stylist was a bit rude but it was more awkward than anything else overall was a bad experience I won’t be returning to this location I wasn’t expecting to be so disappointed I walked in very excited and left feeling like I was a burden to them! I made an appointment showed up on time didn’t request anything extra or had any questions and it was still very weird strange encounter and also they were replacing the front door during my appointment it was so loud and cold in there the few locations in Manhattan i visited before are 10x better kind accommodating and have friendly conversation recommend products to purchase definitely worth the drive

Went today and used my barfly credit. WORST BLOWOUT- usually my dry bar styles taken 1.5 hours, I have this listed when I book as well as my hair type. I tried calling and was told they were busy seeing other clients to confirm they had someone able to do my hair. I went in and received a 35 minute poofy blowout and straightening done by two people at one point the third person came over to complain they person she serviced didn’t even tip her and they took turns laughing. My stylist was already waiting to blowout another client so I wasn’t able to address my discomfort with the style before leaving. After getting home I noticed sections of my hair are still moist. I don’t even know my stylists name because she never introduced herself or the second person working on my hair .

Amazing 10/10. I have curly hair and I was truly amazed by the magic that Charisma performed on my hair. She was so kind and did an amazing job. Will for sure be coming back
